A new restaurant and shop is preparing to open in Baldock tomorrow (Saturday, August 12), and we've had a sneak peek behind the scenes.
The Prep Lounge in Whitehorse Street will open its doors to customers at 9am, serving up favourites such as burgers, breakfast wraps and ice cream - but with a twist.
All the produce on their menu has been sourced to have low fat content, from protein shakes and juices to healthy bakes and breakfasts.
Anybody attending on the opening day can take advantage of a discount on the entire menu, as well as the opportunity to try some samples before you buy.
Dishes will be offered to cater for a huge range of dietary requirements, including those who are diabetic, pescatarian, vegetarian, or suffer from Crohn's disease, celiac disease, wheat intolerance, or are gluten free.
As well as the restaurant - set over three dining rooms on the first floor - there will be a ground floor supplement shop, selling a variety of products to help customers lead a healthy lifestyle.

The restaurant and shop is the brainchild of Stuart Bayley and Gemma Pateman, who have a background in fitness and a passion for health and nutrition.
They are hoping to work with schools and local academies to promote healthy eating, and with independent local businesses to sell their products via their restaurant menu or shop stock.
The Prep Lounge will initially be open from 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am until midday on Saturdays.
They will be offering wellbeing seminars and meditation in the evenings, and are planning to offer a meal plan programme to help customers achieve their goals.
If you would like to enquire about the meal plan service, you can email thepreplounge@chef.net.
