The popular Hitchin Beach is set to make a return to the town centre this month, with this year bringing an exciting new addition for the adults.
The much-loved attraction will be in Market Place from Tuesday, August 8, until Monday, August 28, open to children from 10am to 4pm.
The beach first came to land-locked Hitchin in 2018, and town centre manager Tom Hardy is delighted to see it back for yet another year.
"We are delighted that the beach is making a return to the town this year," he said.
"Businesses have struggled with the economic challenges and the bad weather over recent weeks, the beach is a welcomes addition to boost footfall and hopefully encourage family into the town centre."

The beach is an attraction for children, but this year sees an exciting addition for the adults, with a beach bar opening for the adults on the final two nights.
"Bridgetown Monroe brings you a beach bar for two nights only," reads the Visit Hitchin Facebook page.
"Previously open in the day only for children to use, we wanted to close this year's beach with something for the grown-ups.
"Come down and enjoy a beverage whilst dipping your toes in the sand."
