Police in Letchworth and Baldock are set to prioritise dealing with speeding and anti-social behaviour following feedback from local residents.
Letchworth and Baldock Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) announced the new priorities today (Monday, August 7) after assessing information received through their Echo and OWL platforms.
They will be focusing on speeding on Weston Way in Baldock and on youth-related anti-social behaviour in Letchworth, especially in Howard Park, Norton Common, and the town centre.
Previously, the SNTs were prioritising the unlawful use of e-scooters in Letchworth town centre, speeding in Letchworth's Norton Road, and theft from motor vehicles in both Letchworth and Baldock.
The SNTs are tasked with fixing short and long-term neighbourhood issues, and work closely with local partners - including the council and schools - to achieve this.
SNT Sergeant Lisa Perks, said: “Thanks to everyone who took the time to register their views, we really value your feedback so we can make sure we capture all of the issues affecting residents and allocate our resources accordingly.
