A new health food restaurant and shop will be opening in Baldock later this month.
The Prep Lounge in Whitehorse Street will celebrate its grand opening at 9am on Saturday, August 12.
They will be serving up favourites such as burgers, breakfast wraps and ice cream, but with a twist - all the produce on their menu has been sourced to have low fat content.
Their varied and reasonably-priced menu will include protein shakes and juices, healthy bakes and breakfasts, and a range of options for lunch and dessert.
Dishes will be offered to cater for a huge range of dietary requirements, including those who are diabetic, pescatarian, vegetarian, or suffer from Crohn's disease, celiac disease, wheat intolerance, or are gluten free.
And that isn't all, because their ground floor will be a supplement store offering a variety of products to help customers lead a healthy lifestyle.
The restaurant and shop is the brainchild of Stuart Bayley and Gemma Pateman.
Stuart has a background in competitive fitness and a passion for health and nutrition.
He met Gemma two years ago, as she embarked on a lifestyle transformation that has led to her losing 68kg with Stuart's coaching and support.
Gemma says that they spotted that a health restaurant and supplement store was something that Baldock lacked.
"So many people in the local area don't have access to support on nutrition and aren't aware of the benefits that can come from it, the way it works, and the correct way of doing things.
"We've also noticed that there aren't many places where you can go to eat that offer healthy food and cater for everybody - families, people into fitness, vegans, those who need gluten-free options and other dietary requirements.
"We're trying to target the teenage market in the town too, as there's nowhere else for them to go - so we'll be offering ice cream and desserts!
"It's aimed at everybody, it's trying to hit all aspects and provide something for everyone to enjoy.
"Not everybody wants to eat chicken and rice, but plenty of people do still want to eat healthily.
"Some people enjoy sweet foods, and we both believe you shouldn't go without things just because you're eating healthily - it's all about the way it's cooked and the way it's made.

"There will be a supplement store downstairs too.
"We know that lots of people in the local area are into fitness, and a lot of them are purchasing products online where you can't try them before you buy it.
"Everything we stock - such as protein powders - will be on our menu too so people can try them first to see if they like them."
They're also hoping to stock products from other independent local businesses in the future.
The Prep Lounge will initially be open from 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am until midday on Saturdays.
They will be offering wellbeing seminars and meditation in the evenings, and are looking into the possibility of providing a meal prep service at a later date.
