A mum is appealing to Stevenage Borough Council for a children's play area that is "rusty, dangerous and vandalised" to be repaired.
Emilia Mucaj is horrified at the deterioration of Camps Hill Park in Stevenage.
She said: "Residents of Chells would like our playground to be fixed, as we were promised before an election.
"Now, our kids don’t have anywhere to play. It has been vandalised lately, all the equipment is rusty, and it is dangerous to play there.
"We are a big community. There are plenty of kids here. We were using it frequently and our kids were happy there."

A spokesperson for Stevenage Borough Council said: "Camps Hill Park is one of our priority play areas to undergo improvements.
"We are currently in the process of recruiting an officer to lead on our play area refurbishment programme, and once this post is filled we can begin the next phase of works.
"In the meantime, we continue to inspect all play areas on a weekly basis, carrying out maintenance and repairs where necessary in order to keep the equipment safe for continued use."
