A woman from Stevenage and a man from Hitchin have been jailed for class A drug offences after they were arrested in Welwyn Garden City on January 5.
Reece Haynes, 30, and Tegan Holden, 22, were sentenced to multiple years behind bars at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, July 10.
Haynes, of Sunnyside Road in Hitchin, was sentenced to a total of seven years in prison having also been arrested for drugs offences in June 2022. The earlier arrest had followed work with the Metropolitan Police's Operation Orochi, which tackles county lines drug dealing.
Haynes was remanded to prison following his January arrest, and has now been sentenced as follows:
- Three years and six months for being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between April 30 and May 29, 2022
- Three years and six months for being concerned in the supply of heroin between April 30 and May 29, 2022 (to run concurrently with the above sentence)
- Three years and six months for being concerned in the supply of heroin on or before January 5, 2023
- Three years and six months for being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine on or before January 5, 2023 (to run concurrently with the above sentence)
Haynes was previously jailed for three years in 2019 after subjecting his ex-partner to a "year of terror".

Meanwhile, Holden, of Brighton Way in Stevenage, was sentenced to two years and three months imprisonment for two offences, with the sentences to be served concurrently:
- Being concerned in the supply of heroin on or before January 5, 2023
- Being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine on or before January 5, 2023
Detective Inspector Bianca Broadbent, from the Welwyn Hatfield Local Crime Unit, said: “We work hard to tackle the local drugs supply and so I am glad that Haynes and Holden are now behind bars.
