Starbucks could be coming to Letchworth town centre following a recent planning application.
North Herts Council has received a planning application for the popular coffee chain to take over the newly-built unit at 23 Leys Avenue.
Starbucks require a change of use to be approved for the unit, as it currently only has permission to be used as a shop.
The coffee chain would like to include sit-in and takeaway options at the venue, with an outside seating area too.
Our gallery at the top of this story shows what the café would look like, according to artist's impressions submitted as part of the planning application.

One Starbucks café is already set to open in Letchworth, with a drive-thru outlet near Burger King and Wickes being granted planning permission earlier this year.
Starbucks is planning to open 100 coffee shops cross the UK following a jump in sales since the pandemic. There are currently 1,066 Starbucks shops across the UK.
