A 15-year-old boy who fled from police officers in Stevenage has since been arrested on suspicion of drug supply and possession of a bladed article.
At around 12.20pm on Wednesday, July 5, in Bedwell Crescent, officers approached a teenage boy, who ran away in the direction of Ramsdell, where he was located five minutes later and searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
During the search, officers located class B drugs. Officers conducted a search in the immediate area and located a bladed article.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis, being in possession of a bladed article and being in possession of cocaine.

After arrest, officers searched the suspect's home, where a substantial amount of cash and class A drugs were found.
Herts police are now appealing for information and witnesses.
PC Jimmy Barber, who is investigating, said: "I am appealing for anyone who was in the area of either Bedwell Crescent or Ramsdell around the time of 12.20pm on Wednesday, July 5 to come forward.
"One of the people we are aware of who possibly witnessed the incident was walking a dog - we are particularly interested in speaking to them.
