A shop in Letchworth has moved to a new site after ten years in business.

But customers won't have to travel far to find them, as Mr Bransons are staying in the Garden Square Shopping Centre.

Richard, the owner, has moved his menswear shop into a larger unit which was previously occupied by Santander and is more than twice the size of their previous store.

After the opening on Thursday, June 22, Richard told the Comet: "We outgrew the old place in the end - we've got more and more styles, more and more stock.

"This was an opportunity to move into a new space, and, while it was a lot of work - it took us a good couple of weeks of early mornings and late nights - it's so far so good.

"The new unit is much larger, and we've got disabled access now which is fantastic. It's better in every way.

"Before Covid, Letchworth was all doom and gloom with everywhere closing.

"It feels like that has changed now, and I've got to pay tribute to the landlord, to Letchworth BID, to Jack [Philbin], the centre's manager, and Joe, the centre's operations supervisor.

"You couldn't find people that are more helpful than the two of them - they do so much for the town."

Jack said: "Richard's been with us since 2013, through thick and thin and some quite testing times, so it's great that we've kept hold of him.

"We'd like to wish him the best of luck as he moves into his new megastore."
