One of the UK's "most loved" and "best places to work" will be hosting a careers open day at its Stevenage site this Saturday (June 17).

Defence company MBDA UK currently has nearly 200 jobs available in Stevenage, and potential applicants can visit this weekend to learn more about the current and future career opportunities it has available.

Many of the 200 jobs are in different facets of engineering, but they also include roles in administration, finance, human resources, IT, procurement, and project management.

While the jobs are based in Stevenage, MBDA also welcomes applicants who are looking for more flexible working arrangements.

Debbie Cole, MBDA’s UK head of resourcing, said, “This is our third careers open day at Stevenage since we re-started them after the pandemic.

"We have had hundreds of people come through the door and feedback about them has been excellent. That's why we continue to provide them for those looking for work.

“Visitors to our careers open day can talk to employees, many in similar jobs to those we have available.

"It gives our visitors an opportunity to get a feel for our company culture and what it’s like to work at MBDA."

MBDA UK was recently announced as one of the top ten ‘very big’ employers and one of the '40 most loved' organisations in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023 feature.
