An air ambulance was called to Hitchin yesterday (Wednesday, May 31) after a woman was reportedly hit by a car.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 10.18am after receiving reports that an "adult woman had been hit by a car" outside Asda in Queen Street.
A road ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle, and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance all attended the scene.

According to a spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service, the woman was transported by road to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where she was treated for injuries to her head and legs.
