Filming for Beetlejuice 2 at a former school near Hitchin has now been confirmed after Winona Ryder was spotted on set.
The Comet reported on Tuesday that crews had been spotted at the Princess Helena College site in Preston, which closed to students in 2021, with claims they are capturing footage for the sequel to the 1980s classic.
The rumours were confirmed today when pictures of Ryder, who is reprising her role as Lydia Deetz, were snapped showing her sitting in the passenger seat of a Tesla leaving the disused school.

The 51-year-old was sat beside the male driver, thought to be co-star Michael Keaton, with the car kitted out with camera equipment.
As well as Ryder and Keaton, Willem Dafoe, Catherine O'Hara and Jenna Ortega are all set to feature in the movie, which is scheduled for release on September 6, 2024.
Beetlejuice 2 will once again be directed by Tim Burton, with Blue Hawaii used as a working title for the film - in reference to plans for an original sequel called Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian, which were drawn up in the early 1990s before being scrapped.

The original story had the Deetz family moving to Hawaii to unwittingly develop a vacation paradise on an ancient burial ground, but the plot for the 2024 film is currently under wraps.
Filming took place at Princess Helena College on Tuesday and Wednesday, with road closures in place as crews captured footage.
