Nine cars have been stolen in Letchworth in less than three weeks, according to Hertfordshire police.
Between April 27 and May 15, five BMW cars and four Mercedes-Benz cars were reported stolen in Letchworth.
All the thefts have occurred during late evening or overnight, with police asking residents to be extra vigilant. Every stolen car has been keyless.
One theft took place on Wilbury Road, with others scattered across the town.

A police spokesperson said: “We urge all Hertfordshire residents to stay vigilant regardless of what car you have or the area you live in. Further information on how you can keep your vehicle safe can be found on our website."
North Herts Police reminded residents on Twitter that they should "call police immediately" if they see anything suspicious, and added: "There is currently police activity in the area, as we are conducting ongoing operations."
