A man has been arrested after a car overturned during a police chase in Letchworth yesterday (Thursday, May 11).
The man, aged in his 20s, was driving in Letchworth at around 1.30pm when Safer Neighbourhood Officers from Hertfordshire police attempted to carry out an intelligence-led stop on his vehicle.
The driver made off before his vehicle overturned onto its roof in Works Road.

After overturning, the driver was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, driving over the prescribed drug limit, driving otherwise in accordance of licence, driving with no insurance, and dangerous driving.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police said: "The ambulance service also attended the scene as a precautionary measure, however, the driver was uninjured."
