How many crimes were reported in your area during March 2023?

The data from police.uk shows that 1,469 crimes were reportedly committed in Stevenage and North Herts during March, up from 1,397 in February.

The most common category was violence and sexual offences, with 463 offences reported as taking place within March.

Anti-social behaviour offences were the second-most common category, with 336 offences reported - up from 299 in February.

  • Other theft - 108 (down from 123 in Feb)
  • Vehicle crime - 90 (up from 58 in Feb)
  • Public order - 89 (up from 61 in Feb)
  • Drugs - 43 (up from 39 in Feb)
  • Burglary - 42 (down from 51 in Feb)
  • Other crime - 35 (up from 19 in Feb)
  • Possession of weapons - 10 (down from 13 in Feb)
  • Bicycle theft - 8 (up from 7 in Feb)
  • Theft from the person - 5 (down from 18 in Feb)
  • Robbery - 3 (down from 5 in Feb)
