A man was rushed to hospital yesterday (Thursday, May 11) after a car overturned during a police chase in Letchworth.
In a status on Facebook, North Herts Police wrote that their "Safer Neighbourhood Officers undertook an intelligence led stop after spotting this suspicious car driving in Letchworth".
"The car drove off at speed, trying to evade officers but unfortunately rolled!"
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance was sent to Works Road Letchworth this afternoon [May 11] following reports of a road traffic collision.
"One man was transported to Lister Hospital for further assessment and care."
