A man has been assaulted after a verbal altercation escalated in Letchworth.
Yesterday (Thursday, May 4), two men reportedly had a verbal altercation in Monklands, which became physical.
One of the men was assaulted by the other, before leaving the area.
The injured man required hospital treatment.

Police were called just after 1pm, and enquiries are being carried out into the incident.
