A new soft play facility is set to open in Letchworth on Monday (May 8).
Play Wild Letchworth at North Herts Leisure Centre on Baldock Road will offer a range of jungle-themed fun and physical activities including monkey bars, cargo nets, rope bridge, log ramp climber and small and large slides.
Sarah Kingsley, North Herts Council's place service director, said: "We’re really excited to be opening what we think is currently the only soft play facility in Letchworth. We know this is something local parents and their little ones want.

"Soft play facilities are great for giving toddlers and young children the freedom to play in a safe and secure environment. The interactive and entertaining equipment is designed to help them develop important skills like balance, coordination and problem-solving, and they get to meet other little people and have fun!
"The new facility will increase usage at the centre and help generate income from our leisure portfolio - a benefit to all our residents."
Prices and opening times vary, but Play Wild Letchworth will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9.30am to 5.30pm all year round.
For weekends and school holidays, the council recommends booking in advance one of four slots of 1 hour 45 minutes, either online or in person at the centre. The facility, which cost £250,000, is cleaned between each session.
