The first homes currently being built on the sprawling 93-acre Hazel Park estate on the edge of Stevenage have been put on the market for up to £719,995.
Redrow is building 253 new homes off Gresley Way as the first phase of a development of 618 new homes, a primary school and pre-school, and an 80-bed care home.
Hazel Park will include homes and apartments ranging from two to five bedrooms, 40 per cent of which will be marketed as "affordable".

Homes currently being marketed range in price from £481,995 for a three-bed semi-detached house to £719,995 for a four-bed detached house.
East Herts District Council granted full planning permission for the first phase of the new development in August.
Stevenage residents have expressed concerns about the impact an influx of hundreds of new residents will have on infrastructure including roads, schools and doctors' surgeries.
