"The price was very reasonable, a varied range of choices on the menu, service was quick and most importantly the food was great. I would definitely recommend The Standing Order, in Stevenage Old Town for breakfast."

A happy punter wrote: "This is a great example of the chain and somewhere I’d happily return to in the future for a drink. While in the centre of the town and having a great location it’s also rather hidden, being tucked down a small side street and away from the busy shopping road.
"Out the front is a lovely garden with lots of tables and seating, complete with umbrellas. Inside is also really nice with loads of seating types throughout the relaxing area, with a wonderful ceiling worth admiring. The staff behind the bar weren’t the friendliest but at least there were enough of them to prevent any long wait."

"You really can’t go wrong. The food is very good, the atmosphere chilled and the staff are friendly and efficient. No sticky tables to be found. What’s not to like? Keep up the good work!"
