A care home in Woolmer Green welcomed a baby lamb to celebrate the start of spring.
Residents at Care UK’s Knebworth Care Home were delighted when Lucy the lamb sprang into the home to interact with residents.
They were able to learn more about their woolly new friend and the lambing season, prompting them to reminisce about their own experiences with animals in their younger years.

Resident Joan Burnett said: "It puts you off eating lamb now we’ve had a visit from Lucy."
Vera Moreira-Henocq, the home manager, said: "Here at Knebworth, we’re always looking for exciting activities to put a smile on residents’ faces.
