A quantity of cash went missing from a till after a staff member was distracted by a man at Knebworth Post Office.
Around 12.30pm yesterday, (Monday, March 6), it was reported that a man had distracted a member of staff and went behind the counter at the Post Office in St Martin's Road.
It was discovered a short while later that a quantity of cash was missing from the till.

No threats were made, and nobody was injured.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following the burglary.
Detective Constable Rebecca Hargrave, of the North Herts Local Crime Unit, said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the image.
“It is believed he was in the area around the time of this incident and may be able to assist with ongoing enquiries.
