International Women's Day will take place on March 8, and to mark the occasion Stevenage Borough Council has teamed up with Women In Business Networking to host a day of celebration.
The Cromwell Hotel will host the informal networking event with guest speakers Vida and Leona Barr-Jones from Focus 7, to celebrate our diverse array of women led businesses.
Informal networking with tea/coffee pastries will start the session off at 9.30am, giving the opporunity to mix and mingle with other local businesses.
Attendees will be presented by a masterclass on how your brand supports your success as woman in business by Vida and Leona, followed by more opportunities to connect.
The theme for this year's International Women's Day is #EmbraceEquity. The aim is "to get the world talking about why equal opportunities aren't enough. People start from different places, so true inclusion and belonging require equitable action".
Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased at eventbrite.co.uk/e/international-womens-day-networking-event-tickets-516779981837
