The Post Office in Stevenage Old Town will close its doors next month.
The branch opened in March 2020 at Medix Pharmacy, following the closure of Waitrose - and its in-store Post Office - in 2019.
Following a review, Post Office has notified staff and customers that the branch will "temporarily" close on March 27 at 5.30pm.

In a letter, a spokesperson said: "This review examined the network at a very detailed, local level, analysing customer demand and accessibility of Post Office products and services.
"Consequently, it has informed our plans for the network as we work to ensure that our funding and resources are allocated to deliver maximum benefit for all customers.
"Consequently, at this time we are not looking to continue to provide a temporary managed service at High Street due to limited funding.

"We apologise for the inconvenience the temporary closure may cause. We hope that our customers will continue to use Post Office services."
The nearest Post Office branch is located in WHSmith's in Queensway.
