Two women who witnessed a man indecently expose himself in Hitchin have been left "distraught" by the incident.
The incident occurred near St Mary’s Church, at around 10.20pm on Friday, February 3, when the women were walking towards St Mary’s car park.
They passed a man who was indecently exposing himself. He is described as a tall man, dressed in dark clothing, with tan worker style boots.
"Understandably the victims are distraught by the incident," said PC Manuela Ungureanu, investigating.

"Due to the time of day, they were unable to get a further description of the male, but we are doing all we can to trace him and are asking anyone who thinks they may be able to assist us to please come forward.
"Do you recall seeing anyone acting suspiciously in the area on the night of the incident? Any information at all could greatly assist our enquiries."
