A 19-year-old man and 18-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with an assault which left a man in his 40s with "GBH-level injuries".
The incident occurred in Church Lane, at the junction with Grove Road, at around 4.20pm on Saturday, February 4.
It was reported that a man in his 40s was out walking his dogs when an altercation occurred with two people who were sitting in a vehicle.

The man walked away and was subsequently assaulted, sustaining "GBH-level injuries including a broken arm".
The two people arrested remain in police custody at this time.
Detective Sergeant Ben Dixon, from the Stevenage Local Crime Unit, said: “Our enquiries into the incident are continuing at this time and, as part of this, we are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“We believe that a number of people saw what happened and also came to the victim’s aid. If this was you, please get in touch as you may be able to assist our ongoing enquiries.”
