Stephen McPartland, the Conservative MP for Stevenage, could lose his seat at the next general election, according to the latest polls.
UK Polling Report, a non-partisan organisation that bases its predictions on recent polls, suggests that Kevin Bonavia, the Labour candidate, would win the seat.
It predicts that Mr Bonavia would win 49.8 per cent of the vote, against 35.8 per cent for Mr McPartland.
