A 24-year-old man has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, following an incident at a Stevenage pub on New Year's Eve.
Charlie Kettle, from Pembridge Gardens, Stevenage, was arrested at an address in Newmarket on Sunday, and was charged after appearing before Hatfield Magistrates’ today (Tuesday, January 17).
Police were called at around 11.20pm on Saturday, December 31, following an altercation at Our Mutual Friend pub in Broadwater Crescent.
It was reported that the altercation then continued outside and a firearm was involved, but no one was injured and no damage was caused.

Kettle has been remanded into custody and is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on February 20.
Three people were also arrested at the scene in connection with the incident.
A 26-year-old man from Stevenage was arrested on suspicion of affray, while 22-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, also both from Stevenage, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They all remain on police bail while enquiries continue.
