A donation from Friends of Lister Hospital will help make Christmas wishes come true for staff at the hospital.
The group raises funds to support patients and staff at the hospital, and has now donated £3,000 to the Make a Workplace Wish campaign.
The campaign is run by East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity to help make Christmas wishes come true for staff.
Staff have been invited to submit their wishes which include items such as kettles and microwaves for their staff areas, or artwork to decorate the walls.
Lynda Simmons from Friends of Lister Hospital said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Make a Workplace Wish for East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity.
"It’s lovely to be able to fulfil the wishes of the staff and provide items that will brighten their workspace or make their busy day a little easier.”
Eloise Huddleston, director of East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity, said: “Thank you so much to Friends of Lister Hospital for their generous donation to help make wishes come true for our NHS staff.
“We all know how hard our staff work caring for our patients so to be able to provide items to help make things a little easier for them, especially in the run up to Christmas, is wonderful.”
