Steve Evans is ready to embrace the occasion when Arsenal head to Stevenage but he is making no bones about one fact - Boro want to win.
The U21 Gunners arrive at the Lamex Stadium for a 7pm kick-off tomorrow evening (Tuesday) in the Papa John's Trophy second round.
And while the World Cup may see a slightly stronger Arsenal side named, with players not involved over in Qatar given a run-out, both teams are just four wins away from the final and a trip to Wembley.
That is what is focusing the mind of the Boro boss.
Evans said: "I think it will be a strong Arsenal side who arrive here.
"They are an institution, a great club. There a lot of great clubs in the Premier League but when you talk about Arsenal, you are talking about the elite.
"We’re hosting one of them and every Arsenal fan in the town will be here for sure with their kids.
"And it’s great, it’ll create a better atmosphere, but we want to win and get one game closer to Wembley."
