A man has been arrested following a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
Police were called to Grace Way, Stevenage at around 7.20pm yesterday (Thursday) to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
A 51-year-old man from Stevenage has been arrested on suspicion of assault, dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. He is currently in police custody.
The pedestrian was treated by paramedics at the scene and did not receive serious injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or the events prior to the collision, should contact Detective Constable Neil Davies via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101.
