Tea, coffee and cakes were the order of the day today, Friday, as schools, businesses and members of the public held coffee mornings to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Students from Broom Barns School in Stevenage raised £550 for the cause, while pupils at The Knights Templar School in Baldock came together on the school fields for what must be one of the biggest Macmillan coffee mornings.
Nearly 1500 students and staff gathered together to eat cakes and raise money for the cancer support charity.
The students made more than 800 cakes this week and everyone was encouraged to come to school in casual clothes and make a donation to Macmillan.
Staff from the Stevenage Town Centre Management team also took part in raising money for the charity.
Residents at Gladstone Court in Stevenage held their coffee morning event yesterday, Thursday.
If you have held a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support email or tweet us you photos to news@thecomet.net or @thecomet24 and we will add as many photos of your coffee morning as we can to our online gallery.
