Ickleford pre-school held an Easter egg hunt at the village’s Upper Green on Sunday for children and their families to raise money for new equipment and facilities.
Children and their families were hunting for eggs around Ickleford, and were treated to face painting, colouring, toys, games and a lucky dip.
Some local residents also donated cakes and other sweet treats to sell at the Upper Green to help to raise additional funds that are needed to provide the latest equipment for the children.
Ickleford pre-school leader Lucy Barnes said: “We were thrilled to see so many families having a great time taking part at the Ickleford Easter Egg Hunt at Upper Green on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who helped us raise valuable funds for Ickleford pre-school by donating cakes and hunting for Easter eggs.”
