It is with heavy hearts we announce that our dear brother and uncle, Brian Burke has passed away on Sunday, 21st July. Those who knew him will remember Brian as a true renaissance man. A talented musician, artist, biologist and teacher, he inspired generations of pupils during his career as a primary and Head teacher. He will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held at 12.10 on Thursday 8th August at St. Nicholas Church, Rectory Lane, Stevenage. All are welcome. We kindly ask that attendees wait outside the church for the arrival of the coffin. Donations in Brian's memory can be made towards a commemoration at Whipsnade Zoo or other place that Brian held dear. Details for this will be made available at the funeral. Dress attire is formal with a tropical twist.
