Born in Bari, Italy, on September 2nd, 1942, Domenico was a man of remarkable strength, resilience, and dedication. He touched the lives of many through his hard work, kindness, and exceptional skills as a master plasterer, specializing in the restoration of historic buildings using traditional lime mortar. At the tender age of 14, Domenico embarked on a new chapter of his life. He journeyed to England alongside his mother, Maria, and his brother, Vito and was later joined by his sister, Deborah. It was in this new land that he would build a life full of accomplishments, love, and lasting connections. Domenico's commitment to his craft led him to become renowned in his field, restoring countless historic buildings in Hitchin and preserving their beauty for future generations. Beyond his professional achievements, Domenico's most cherished role was that of a family man. He married Maddalena Franco, and together they raised two sons, Nick and Massimo Franco. Domenico Franco will be remembered as more than just a master craftsman. He was a kind-hearted individual who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
