Bob - Robert Frederick Howard

Caroline, Jo, Cathy, Luke & David announce the death of Bob (Robert Frederick) Howard who passed peacefully at home in Letchworth, on Monday 23rd January 2023, aged 85. Having had a rich and happy life, and assured of his journey to Glory, we shall celebrate his life with a Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving at 10.00am on Friday 17th February 2023, to be held at North Hertfordshire Memorial Park & Crematorium, Bedford road, Holwell, Hitchin SG5 3RT. There will be a live and recorded webcast available via our undertakers, whom we thank for their excellent care of Bob and ourselves. We shall meet to share our memories with family and friends immediately after the service at The Function Room, Chesfield Downs, Jack's Hill, Gravely, Hitchin SG4 7EQ There will be floral tributes from the family (only), so if you are moved to give in Bob's memory, or wish to contact the family, we ask for any donations or messages to be sent to our undertakers. We intend to share any funds equally between the charities which Bob supported :- Diabetes UK, Cancer Research UK, Macmillan, Marie Curie, and Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. Even small amounts can make an important difference to the quality of someone's life.
