SIMON SHIELD (Photo) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Simon ‘Soapy’ Shield on 28th September 2022 aged 54. Simon will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the local community who all share such fond memories of his kindness, wisdom and humour and his love for music. His funeral will take place on Tuesday 25th October at 12pm at St Mary’s Church, Hitchin.
