OF CLIFTON, BEDFORDSHIRE Died 4th July 2019 in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge following a short battle with a rare blood cancer. Born in Crawley the only son of Arthur and Joyce Dewbery, he became an engineer apprentice with Monarch Airlines in 1973, and continued his career there until January 2019. A keen walker, Dave followed in his father’s footsteps, joining 1066 Hitchin Squadron (Air Training Corps) in 1979 as a civilian instructor and spent 40 years supporting cadets. He later also volunteered for the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, spending even more time in the Welsh hills he loved. He leaves his beloved wife Barbara and step-daughter Suzie, as well as four-legged dependants Barney and Twiggy. He is loved, and will be missed, by so many. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday 2nd August at The Vale Cemetery and Crematorium, Luton.
