Of Highdown, Pirton. Chairman of William Ransom PLC for 30 years died peacefully on the 21st. December 2019 He was a much loved husband, father and grandfather and is mourned by us all. There will be a service of thanksgiving for his life in St. Mary’s Church, Hitchin, on Friday 10th. January 2020 at 2.30 p.m. Enquiries to Austins, Hitchin.Tributes

I first met Michael when we were students at School of Pharmacy, London. I became manager of pharmaceuticals at Bush Boake Allen and met with Michael at various functions. We were competitors in products but friends. I am now 90, but remember those days with fondness.
