EDITH PARTRIDGE
of Hitchin, former headteacher of both Knebworth and Roebuck Primary Schools, passed away peacefully on Sunday 26th July at Westgate House care home in Ware, aged 89. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Edith did not wish to have a funeral, but if desired, a charitable donation in her memory can be made to either the Macmillan Nurses or the RNLI.
