WITCHELL, George Stroud of Sandy, Bedfordshire (raised in Darlington, Co Durham). Passed peacefully at the Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge with his children and oldest grandson at his side, aged 82. Dearly beloved, loving and wonderfully funny father to Kirsty, Robbie and Ailsa: uncle to Claire and Maria, and Grandad to Tom, Liam, Mikey, George, Eric, Ivo and Jacob. Due to the current pandemic, a private funeral will be held at St John’s in Darlington on the 2nd October. Family flowers only, please.
