Doreen (Dordie) Beryl Gibbs

Passed away peacefully at Ferendune Court Care Home in Farringdon on Friday 4th December 2020 aged 84 after a long illness. She moved to Stevenage as a teenager and lived in the towns of Letchworth and Baldock for much of her life. A loving wife to George Gibbs (diseased), mother to Alexander and Jeremy and grandmother to Esme and Oliver, “Dordie" was also a teacher, friend, and colleague to many more, She will be sadly missed. In light of current restrictions, a close Family Funeral service will take place at Harwood Park Crematorium near Stevenage, on Tuesday 22nd December 2020 at 4:15 p.m. Webcast details are available from Co-Op Funeral Care Stevenage 01438 746903.
