MARIE-LOUISE PAULE MARGUERITE CRAXFORD 8th November 1924 - 2nd February 2021 Passed away peacefully aged 96 years due to heart failure. Born in Hazebrouck, France and brought up in Broxburn, Scotland, to parents Marguerite and John Hendry, Marie-Louise worked for many years as a civil servant at Greenwich Fuel Research Station and Warren Spring Laboratory, Stevenage. On retiring, Marie-Louise volunteered her time to support the Independent Adult Education Centre (The Settlement) in Letchworth where she undertook the role of Treasurer for the Art club as well as offering workshops on silk painting. Marie-Louise, reunited with her sisters Marguerite, Jacqueline and Elise and husband Sean, will be sadly missed by her surviving family - nieces (Denise and Suzanne) and her nephews (Ian, Colin and David) and by her close friends. Marie-Louise’s funeral will take place at The Church of St. Hugh of Lincoln, Letchworth on Thursday 4th March, 2021.
