CHRISTOPHER CHARLES PARKER 29th December 1941 – 27th March 2021 We are incredibly sad to announce the passing of Chris Parker, who died peacefully at home following a difficult illness. A very much loved and kind father, grandfather and great grandad who always listened to others. He will be forever held tightly in our hearts. Chris was a stalwart in keeping Hitchin special and campaigned tirelessly for the Walsworth Community, initially as an independent councillor then as a passionate supporter of the local community centre and Walsworth festival. Chris spent his later years as an enthusiastic bee keeper and was heavily involved with Buzz Works and enjoyed training future apiarists. We couldn’t be more proud of him. The service will take place on Wednesday 14th April at 2.00pm. Due to Covid restrictions the service will be live streamed, for details please contact Austin’s or the family.
