It is with great sadness that the family of Ian James Raymond Johnson announces his passing after a long illness on 31st July 2021 at the age of 86. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife Doreen of 64 years and their 4 children. Ian was Mayor of Stevenage between 1982-83 and had many interests, the latest being woodturning. The celebration service for Ian's life will be held at St Nicholas Church, Rectory Lane, at 12 midday, on 18th August 2021.
