14.03.1937 - 21.05.2022 Formerly of the parish of Graveley and Hitchin. A father, grandfather, brother, friend, mentor and artist who sadly passed away aged 85 at Pine Lodge Residential Home. Peter's family and friends wish to extend their thanks to all in the community for their support and kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The funeral service will take place at 11am on Friday 17th June 2022 at St Mary's Church, Graveley, followed by an interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only please, but donations made in his memory will benefit Alzheimer's Research UK and Cancer Research UK. I bumped into Anna at a petrol station recently and was shocked to hear of Peter’s passing.
I had the pleasure of working for Peter and Anna in the mid 80’s at Multivisual in Stevenage High Street.
Although I didn’t realise it at the time Peter’s skill, knowledge and almost unbreakable patience (almost..) has had a lifelong positive influence on the person I am today.
Condolences to Deborah, Jules & Dorian and the rest of the family.
