DogFest, a canine extravaganza for dog lovers, will be returning to Knebworth House this September.

Last year's event had to be cancelled due to extreme heat.

Begun in 2014 as a small gathering, DogFest has grown into a huge enterprise, with events taking place at seven venues across the country.

Over the past ten years, more than one million dogs and visitors have attended DogFest across 29 different venues.

More dogs and visitors will join that number on September 21 and 22 this year, when DogFest comes back to Knebworth House.

Highlights include activities and competitions, advice and workshops, a kids' zone, shopping village and plenty of food and drink.

Nicole Cooper, CEO and founder of DogFest, said: “We are so excited about our 10th anniversary year!

"Since our first event, more than 50,000 very soggy doggies have enjoyed splashing around in our Dog Diving activities, there have been over 1,000 winners in our Fun Dog Shows and over 650 miles have been covered in our Big Dog Walks – which is further than walking from John O’Groats to Land’s End!”
