A wanted man from Hitchin has been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications.
Hertfordshire police stopped the 37-year-old's car in the town this morning (Friday, February 23).
He has since been arrested and remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "The North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team and Intervention Team stopped and arrested a wanted man in Hitchin this morning (Friday, February 23).
"The 37-year-old, from Hitchin, was arrested on suspicion of malicious communications.
"He remains in police custody at this time."
