Delays of up to 30 minutes are expected on the A1(M) northbound, at Stevenage, later this month, due to "reconstruction and renewal" work taking place between junctions 7 and 8.
National Highways is predicting "moderate delays" of up to 30 minutes from 9pm on February 20 to 5am on February 22, with "carriageway closure, lane closure and diversion route" in place while the work is completed.
Meanwhile, as reported by this paper last week, from 9pm today (February 12) to 5am on February 17, National Highways is predicting similar delays on the A1(M)'s southbound carriageway, between junctions 8 and 7, while "reconstruction and renewal work" takes place. Carriageway closure, lane closure and a diversion route will be in place.
Additionally, slight delays of under 10 minutes are expected between junctions 6 and 10 in both directions of the A1(M) until 4pm on February 23, due to carriageway sweeping works on behalf of Ringway.
