Police officers stopped 12 drivers in Baldock at the weekend, as they carried out a speeding operation.
Members of the Baldock Neighbourhood Policing Team stopped 10 vehicles on London Road and two on Weston Way.
The highest speed recorded was 46mph in a 30mph zone.
Traffic Offence Reports and "strong words of advice" were given to drivers, Hertfordshire police said.
